Oakbrook Terrace, IL – TradeLane Properties is pleased to announce the sale of 5251 S. Millard Avenue, a 66,835 square foot cold storage warehouse facility in Chicago, IL,  to a Midwest-based meat processing company who will fully occupy the facility.

Built in 1955 and renovated in subsequent years, the property features a 14'-18' clear height and includes a 10,053 square foot freezer and a 30,397 square foot cooler. The asset was part of TradeLane Properties Fund I, a Chicago-focused industrial value-add platform.

Significant capital improvements were made to the property, including roof replacement, asphalt repairs, and the removal of racking systems. These enhancements allowed TradeLane to successfully reposition the asset for sale.
